Publisher Description
Running into a man once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times makes it fate... right?
Unless he is now your grumpy boss who holds the future of your fading dance career in his hands. And you hooked up with him when he was just a mysterious stranger rescuing you…
My life is a hot mess. I'm Dakota Tanner and I speak before I think, I spend before I earn, and I live totally in the moment. Which is why I'm down and out in need of a major life makeover. Cue the hot guy who has it all together and makes my toes curl in bed. Who then disappears before I wake up. When he reappears five months later as head coach of a pro football team he wants a secret romance (aka a no-one-can-ever-know bangfest) while I'm a nanny for his wild-child daughters.
I should say no. But he just might be my one true love… or my biggest mistake yet.

Laugh out Loud read
First and for most this is the first book by this author that I have read.
This story was incredible and hooked me from the first page until the very end.
Dakota was not having any luck with men.
Brandon is running his life and that is all that matters to him.
What neither of them expected was to find each other at a wedding or running into each other again. What will happen after this run in, well you will need to read to find out.
This book was incredible written and brings the characters to life in their own way.
Fun and flirty
Low on angst but high in humor and sexiness, Halftime Husband was the perfect fun read for a chilly afternoon. Dakota and Brandon have a bit of kismet on their side when the meet...again...on Valentine’s Day. After he saved her from a sticky situation in December, neither got the others number, and both regretted it. While they remember exactly what they talked about that evening, there’s still a lot they need to learn about each other, and the funny coincidences really drew me in. Once Dakota starts nannying for Brandon’s daughters Willow and Poppy, the fun continues but the feelings may or may not be getting more serious. I loved Dakota’s interactions with the girls; you’d never guess that she wasn’t actually a nanny by trade. Brandon is both amused and continually perplexed by the females in his life, but he’s so adorably clueless. Great dialogue, a fun plot and very likable characters made Halftime Husband and clear winner in my book!
