The Curator's Salon - The Art Podcast

Conversations with artists, curators and authors about making it in the art world. We get behind the studio doors for entertaining and informative discussions about the journey through the visual arts, how projects were realised, ideas that informed new work and practical ways that artists can expand their audience and visibility.
For Charlie Levine, Curator of ITV Creates.

Hi Charlie, I loved the ITV Creates Project from last year and earlier this year too. Did you love the artwork Sarah Harris and LeftCoast made? I saw it on my 4K 50 inch Samsung TV and it looked so vibrant! I also love Erin Taylor’s ITV Logo and it is my favourite logo because the movements are so fluid and really sick, in a good way. I tried to join ITV Kids Create and my logo wasn’t picked. If there is a Christmas edition, I will make something more colourful than the last artwork which was a bunch of lines of black ITV Logos on a white piece of paper. I think all the logos the other kids made during ITV’s ITV Kids Create competition are really good!
Amazing resource for artists

I’ve recently discovered The Curators Selection podcast and, as someone trying to establish a professional art practice I’ve found it to be an incredible resource. Loads of tips on all aspects of being an artist as well as interviews with other artists about their work and practice. Really enjoying working my way through the back catalogue of episodes.
