This anthology combines two favorites that I love to read, second chance love stories and being introduced to new authors. The fact that J. Kenner is part of the compilation is just an added bonus. This is Penny and Blake’s story. Penny met Blake a few years ago when he asked her to essentially run away with him. The time was not right and she turned him down. Fast forward and Penny is now working for Stark Enterprises and who should walk back into her life but Blake. Are the feelings still there between them? Can they make a relationship work and get their ‘second chance’?

I wish I was luck Penny
I Loved this WAY to short but perfect read. Julie introduces us to another perfect couple, and keeps us in line with the Starks as well. Penny and Blake have you intrigued within moments of starting this. I am only reviewing for this novella, however I am looking forward to reading the others as well. I hope to read more in the future about Blake and Penny.

So far, I've only read One Night in this collection, but let me tell you, I can't wait to read the rest of them! One Night is a standalone novella set in the Stark world, and features Damien Stark's secretary, Penny, and her one night stand from years ago- Blake. These two sizzle and pop. Love the steam, love the romance, absolutely cannot wait for more!
