About Lifehouse

Formed in 1996 by next-door neighbors Jason Wade and Sergio Andrade, Lifehouse is an alt-rock band who successfully emerged during the pop-rock movement of the early 2000s. ∙ No Name Face, their 2000 debut LP, earned its double-Platinum certification in under 10 months. ∙ Nominated for three Billboard Music Awards, the band won the No. 1 spot on the 2001 Billboard year-end Hot 100 chart for the breakout single “Hanging By a Moment.” ∙ Remaining on the Billboard Hot 100 for 62 consecutive weeks, 2005’s “You and Me” became the fifth-longest-charting single of the time. ∙ All their LPs through 2015 entered the Billboard 200, including No Name Face, Stanley Climbfall, Lifehouse, and Smoke & Mirrors, which reached the Top 10. ∙ In 2015, Out of the Wasteland reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and featured “Hurricane,” which became their 14th entry into the Adult Top 40 Airplay list. ∙ Billboard ranked “Hanging by a Moment” No. 1 among the best pop-rock hits from the turn-of-the-century on their 50 Greatest Minivan Rock Songs list in 2020.
