Incredible You by Lili Valente is the third standalone book that is based on the Magnificent Bastard Consulting Company. The writing is an embodiment of the title; Incredible. From the first meeting of Jake and Shane is phenomenal - from his soft voice and no bull attitude to her lusty reaction when she had thought she may have been broken in that department it had been so long since it had been active.
There isn't anything that Lili Valente has written that I haven't loved and this is no exception. The drama from the stalkery ex, the building attraction, the sacrifices made. It is all so worth it.
An absolutely fabulous read - better enjoyed after reading Magnificent Bastard and Spectacular Rascal but can totally be read as a standalone. Enjoy!

Another Wonderful Book by Lili Valente!!!
This is the third in the Magnificent Bastard series of novels written by Lili Valente and I have loved them all, but this was my favorite. The novels are romantic comedies, written and narrated in alternating persons, which makes them so much fun to read. In this book, Shane, who we met in book 2, starts working for Sebastian Prince, the original Magnificent Bastard, as the first female member, and her nickname is Magnificent Mess. She is to help Jake "The Dragon" Falcone, a NHL hockey player for the New York Rangers, who has a crazy ex-girlfriend who is ruining his life. This book tells the story of how Shane and Jake get to know and help each other. I love Shane; she has no filter, she's stubborn, and always says what's on her mind, even when she shouldn't. I also love Jake; he's an athlete who grew up poor, and his family had a bad reputation, but now he's a very private person who is determined to make a better life for his family and himself, but he is also stubborn. I love these charachters' senses of humor. It makes this story so much fun to read. Seeing how their relationship develops is so exciting to read, and the way that Lili writes always makes me feel like I am going through the story with the characters. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys romantic comedies! I can't wait until the next Magnificent Bastard Novel comes out!
