Well, I’ll be hornswaggled! I already have a licensed therapist, but Mallory is definitely my 2nd! I was totally nodding and “mmhmming” along. This makes me feel not so alone and to know that the problem is actually not me! Such a relief. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and for being a “friend”.

As someone who has struggled with a toxic father and sister and chose to walk away for self preservation , I really am thankful you shared your story and to know there are others out there that dont think it’s selfish to walk away from family. I wrestled with it in the beginning, wondering if it’s what my mom (who passed three years ago and was my best friend along with my husband) would have wanted. I had to put myself and my life first for once and I truly have never felt better or been happier. Thanks Mal for keeping it real and sharing your life with us. ❤️
