Upon dropping their debut album, Via, in 2011, the Los Angeles-based Volumes established themselves as progressive metalcore heavyweights who can successfully mix punishing breakdowns and djent-style guitar riffs with roiling grooves and hooks inspired by old-school nu-metal.
