Another great read by Joanna Wylde. She certainly knows how to write a hero and heroine and I love that her women are fighters. Yes, they have their quirks, but who doesn't? They always pick themselves up and show strength despite their circumstances. Joanna finds a way to bring her characters to life and gives them charm that makes them seem like people you could meet/know in real life. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Silver Bastard was fantastic. I love Joanne Wylde's Reaper series. Her characters are dynamic and the story is intense. Recommend this one highly folks!!!

Sometimes after reading one of Joanna's books I think to myself-is it normal that I enjoy these books so much? These men are so hard-core and often times scary, but somehow Joanna makes them likable. Puck and Becca have a pretty awful past, but they have this connection that had me wanting them together. As usual the MC world isn't a pretty place and there are some pretty horrific things happening throughout this book. Fair warning to those who might have triggers this book does have a sex scene with a teenager that is riding the line of rape. I'm not going into any more specifics about that part though. It's in the Prologue and they move on from it relatively quickly. Becca is still very young so this book reads a lot like a NA. I'm not the biggest fan of all the angst in new adult books, but overall I really enjoyed this one. I'm looking forward to a lot more from Joanna.
