Stealing Light

Oh.My.Gosh! Cassar's Ruby Blue series are my favorite books of all my 57 years...2nd only to TWILIGHT! And don't EVEN say I'm too old to be reading RUBY books! There is no age limit to learn of another World and going there & sharing exciting times with your friends! It's the same with STEALING LIGHT! Although totally different, they are somewhat the same, in that they are filled with Cassar's MAGIC of taking us to places we've never been! She shows us new realms... Heaven and Angels...this time that we know exist, but that we know nothing of! And she's going to allow US a glimpse of that world! Although a wonderful work of fiction...she weaves a story we can only hope & pray is true! A story of Love, Guardians, & true devotion. I really hope there is another book in this series as I am dying to know what happens with Cash & Cee Cee from this point forward! Awesome book! Loved it! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I know "Love is Patient" but hurry up with a sequel!!!

Oh. My. Gosh! Stealing Light is a unique and very awesome story about love, light, guardian angels, dark evilness, discovering one's true self, and learning about the power within. And I loved every minute of it! I was so sad when it ended. But...... I learned from the author that she is currently working on the sequel! Yay! Yay! Yay!!

I loved CeeCee and I loved watching as she discovers her Gift of Light and as she comes to terms with the fact that she has had a guardian angel all these years. She and her brother lost their parents in a horrible car accident four years ago and she has felt so lost and alone since then. Discovering all the beautifulness around her is a wonderful thing, but along with all this beauty and love comes darkness and evil. Is she strong enough to survive all that evil?

I love the idea of guardian angels watching over us so I thoroughly enjoyed this story of Julie's, centering around these angels. It was amazing to read how she was able to put human thoughts and emotions into these beings. What a beautiful, intense, and captivating story! Hurry up with book #2, Julie!

Julie Cassar never ceases to amaze me, & Stealing Light is definitely on my favorites list!
This story is different from anything I've read lately & seriously rocks!!! The perfect balance of suspense, angst, romance (in between saving the world & all), & hotness.
I am seriously in awe of the characters & worlds she creates. She doesn't miss a beat. All bases covered!!
Personally, I read a variety of genres (although my faves tend to be YA paranormal romances. Don't get me wrong, there are many adult books I have enjoyed as well, but it seems the new norm is all about the sex & not much else.) I adore romance, but I also want adventure, action, comedy, etc. And I LOVE thrillers & suspense like no other!
So, I always appreciate romance done tastefully!! A great romance must also have a great story with it, & Cassar never disappoints. I appreciate how she creates those steamy scenes without over sharing. Not to mention all of the other awesomeness she packs in. Her stories always succeed in transporting me to these far away worlds she magically weaves & I can't wait to see what is to come!!
BTW... There are only a few authors that I have found that can truly make me laugh hysterically through the trembles and/or tears. You know, that whole anguished snort cry with fluids flying both directions...yep THAT Happened!

I believe anyone who enjoyed her previous works will adore this one too. It's her style of writing that draws us in. Of course, the characters too, but they are addicting because of the unique spin she gives them.
For all of the Cassar newbies ~ I have no doubt she will win you over as well! Enjoy!!
