Disk Map Analyzer overall is a really well thought out app that looks polished. It's so simple and easy to figure out, you don't need any instructions (but they even provided video instructions in the beginning of the app).
The map of the drive is easy to read and find large files. I would highly recommend this app for anyone looking for a disk mapping solution.
It's beautiful. FULL SCREEN (which other apps don't do) also looks great on my 5K iMac.
Update: customer service is very response and helpful. The newest version 2.1 has Disk Cleaner added for free! 1-click to erase all the junk cache and application logs.
A Useful Utility
Disk Map Analyzer is a viable replacement for a number of other utilities I have acquired and used since OS X 10.0. The display is informative and the Disk Cleaner mode works quit well. I would have rated it five stars except it provides too much information that is of no or questionable use for most users such as scanning the normally hidden volumes on the macOS 12.4 boot drive and on my system well over 100 snapshot versions. Too much information and of little or no value. That said I will continue to use Disk Map Analyzer and will be looking forward to a future release hopefully with more discrimination it what it displays
simply awesome! almost 100gb found AFTER other disk cleaners failed to find any more space
I have been looking for a utility like this for YEARS! Graphical interpretation is awesome and quickly helped me identify huge chunks of data that I could delete within minutes. For example, I had already downloaded ‘cleaner’ apps that cleaned up 4GB of data. However, with this utility, I found that I had 39GB in backups of old iphones i did not need anymore. Then, I found that dropbox was holding 50gb of data. I am thrilled!!!!!
