A show that changed the way I train
I’ve been listening to the podcast since 2020. Since then my training habits have gone up and down and in between, but when I hit my highest points it’s been taking Joe’s advice. His advice on bench press growth helped me set the state record bench press for my division in my first powerlifting meet.
If you like training, this show is a must. You will get more than you could ever expect from something that you don’t spend a dime on.
Not just for meatheads
Everyone knows Joe provides the best podcast for athletes and lifters, but the show is not just for meatheads! Joe had his wife Ashley on the show last year and I listened in the car with my wife, and she was hooked. My wife related to some of the issues Joes wife was having and the advice really helped her. Now whenever I mention Joes show my wife says “oh Ashley’s husband” ? Haha! Thanks for great shows every week, Joe!

Excellent advice
Joe D is the man. He gives it to you real and talks about real world results and doesn’t bore you with the science...well...maybe some occasional bro science but it’s all good advice. Great guests. Lots of information and has helped this washed up meat head on more than one occasion. Just recently mentioned a little nugget about his limber 11 warm up, which he created over a decade ago. Added it to my routine and my hips/low back feel so much better.
