Cathartic
I received a REVIEW copy in exchange for an honest review. The story is a contemporary romance by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This is the second book in the "Fugly" series. "It's a Fugly Life" is grad 'A' reading (as to be expected coming from the author).
There was much pacing, crying, the berating the characters and the author for putting me through such emotional torture. I was having to step away from the book just to catch an emotional breather only to be called back to continue the journey. It nearly killed me. I couldn't stop myself. ...But I survived and all the better for reading this book.
I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure.

It's a fugly life
Wow. I adored this story. I had to finish it because I was so invested in the story. I started to fully understand how Max got to be the way he was. He was exactly the kind of man Lily needed. He was a straight shooter, even if it wasn't what she wanted to hear. He complemented her in every way. His love for her was a beautiful thing to watch.
Patricio omg can you say drama boy? Well, he's an actor, so that shouldn't be too surprising. 😉
I was sweating bullets towards the end. I was beginning to bite my nails to quick. Thank God it all worked out.
