THE MULTI-MILLION-COPY GLOBAL BESTSELLER. SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOVIE.
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
With this bold and deeply personal novel, It Ends With Us is a heart-wrenching story and an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
A pioneer of the New Adult genre breaks new and very personal ground with this complex novel of self-discovery. Colleen Hoover’s heroine Lily negotiates an unexpected love triangle, digging deep into her past to deal with intricate and difficult questions about the nature of desire. The push and pull of love with the wrong man is never simple, and Hoover doesn’t look away when the going gets tough. A nuanced story of an abusive relationship that’s both timely and heartbreaking, It Ends with Us left its mark long after we put it down.

Very Important To The Book Community
This book was genuinely so engaging and I felt really invested the relationship between Lily and Ryle. Every interaction the two have just makes my stomach drop, and you never know if that’s in a good or a bad way, which is what makes it so engaging. I've never seen an author do a typically dark and mysterious love interest the way Ryle is done. Every move he makes (whether good or bad) is just laced with sweet venom. Its literally as addicting as a drug. And that is brilliantly portrayed in the way that Lily find him so addicting.
The book is overall written so well that it’s easy to read, and I genuinely couldn’t put it down. This book made me vocal when reading it, even in the first 100 pages, I physically laughed out loud, squealed at the romantic bits, felt sad, and felt so genuinely and honestly connected to the main character.
Colleen Hoover doesn't just make you step into the characters shoes, she literally makes you feel like you're her.
This book makes you feel every emotion there is to feel and boy did I feel it hard.
When the peak of Ryle and Lily's relationship was happening it filled me with such genuine panic and anxiety and sadness that I genuinely had to put the book down at times. It is such a powerful and easily relatable story. It connects every situation that happens and every emotion that everyone feels to something in your life, and I honestly think it helps the story connect to readers.
This story is a really big eye opener when it comes to abusive relationships, and the feelings and actions of both parties.
It was very interesting and perspective changing to see how hard it is for victims to leave the situations. I feel like alot of the time there's alot of pressure and judgement on victims of abuse.
Everyone asks "why didn't they just leave" and things of that sort. The author really highlights the reality that we shouldn't place the blame on the victim not leaving, we should place the blame on why the abuser did it.
It sends such a powerful message about abuse, power dynamics and emotional connection. I honestly think this is a book that everyone should read even just once in their life, because it's just so eye opening to the world and feelings involved with abuse. And I feel like as someone who mostly sees the outside perspective of these situations, it was a book that helped me to think about things from the inside. And even though it's a very heavy-content book, I would 8/10 recommend it to anyone.
i don’t have words
it’s honestly to good to put into words, the way the author made the readers love ryle like lily did and made it hard for the readers to make decisions was amazing so much talent in writing this it’s amazing .
