Loved the book and Whistle Stop!
Sweet and touching
Loved it..A MOMENT TO LOVE 1st in A Whistle Stop series...So much heart...
Alexis is from New York, and a very sharp business women come to Whistle Stop to save her father's business..Her first encounter with a handsome cowboy has to be put on hold...at the moment she was after one thing..it was a Choconut Bar..she desperately needed it..she knew it would make some of her bad day melt away, but as she approached the empty container she panicked...She found out who bought the bar, and approached him...willing to buy it from him.
Cord Lawson thought this women is crazy, she wants his bar of chocolate? Well if she leaves him alone fine..not so fast. She follows him. Why? He finds out and is not interested. He learned things the hard way with his ex-wife.
The thing is Alexis needs part of the land he won't sell to her..It's important to her big plan. Cord only sees it as his family heritage being sold off. It's all he's ever known.
As Alexis spends time with Cord she see's just what the land means to him. So can she go through with her plans? She's so torn. No matter which way she turns someone will be disappointed, and let down. Can she make both her father happy and Cord?
Alexis desperately wants to save Whistle Stop. The town is so quaint, but has lost a lot of it's luster over the years.
A must read. Jennifer Faye shows us true family dedication in this book...A must touching, and heartfelt, warming book.
