DOWN AND DIRTY
Faced with a choice between bad-boy detective Dean Ryker and sexy power player Parker Anderson, Sage Reece fought the law--and the law won. But while Ryker's sizzling touch may rule her nights, Sage's days belong to Parker's cool, calculating intensity. . . .
Both Ryker and Parker are determined to protect Sage from a brutal enemy who'd use her to pay for their mistakes. Yet when the usually on-point Ryker is distracted by ghosts from his past, Parker seizes his opportunity to get Sage's attention--and keep it in ways beyond her wildest dreams.
Now, caught between a mobster out for revenge and two men who were once best friends, Sage must play to win--even if it means getting dirty. . . .
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Snow's second Risky Business contemporary (after Power Play) continues to draw out a sexy but confounding love triangle. Executive assistant Sage Reece is still torn between her boss, suave Parker Anderson, and his former best friend, bad-boy cop Dean Ryker. Dean claims to love Sage, but she stops short of admitting her love for him. Is she put off by his irregular hours, which sometimes make her feel like a booty call, or his baffling behavior after an old cover is blown? Or is it simply the slow-burning lust that remains between her and Parker? Sage's bigger problem is that someone wants her dead, and both men vow to protect her. Readers will be more impressed by Parker's devastatingly sexy self-control than Dean's predictable explosiveness. As for Sage, she insipidly wavers between the two men, often with Parker's encouragement, which is almost as annoying as her habit of stubbornly, stupidly endangering herself and the others.
Customer Reviews
Don't miss out on this, it's amazing
Tiffany Snow is the best realistic romantic suspense writer out there. My issue with so many romances is that they feel contrived, and nothing is believable. This series makes everything feel like it could've happened to your best friends, and boy is it a fast read! She deserves way more exposure than she currently gets. I highly recommend this entire series, starting with book one, power play.
