The second book in the saga surprised me, in a very good way. I bought the first book and absolutely loved it and got the chance to win a copy of the second story. I didn't realize until I started reading it that the story continues with the point of view of another character but keeps everyone from the first story intermixed. That's what I get for not reading the story blurb but who needs it when I know the book is going to be great just because S.T. Bende wrote it? lol. I love that idea as it got me into knowing this other character much better. Where the first story was more yum yum Norse god this book was a lot more deeply involved into the back story and emotions that are deeply buried. It was a joy ride of emotions that I absolutely loved. Her style of writing makes it easy to stay involved in the story without getting too lost as there is a lot of stuff to remember in this special world she has created. It was a wonderful, powerful, emotional, read that I highly recommend.
Fantastic page turning read
Perfect Control is the second book in the AEre Saga, and what a saga it is. Henrik and Brynn are the bodyguards of Tyr the god of war and his girlfriend, human Mia Ahlstrom, we learned about them in Perfekt Order, book 1. ST Bende continues to draw us into her Relms. The book is exciting, it's sweet and it's an adventure. You travel with "Brynrik" into several relms, you feel like you are part of their effort to save the Goddess of Love before the world is impacted adversly. I really enjoyed getting to know Hottie Henrik, hunkie nerd & Brynn Valkyrie, smart, sweet and she
can kick some serious tush (as Mia would say). I don't want to say too much, READ THIS Story, you will love it as much as I do. This book gave me everything i was looking for and more. I even got the beginning of a HEA.
A Must Read from S.T. Bende
Perfekt Control exceeded all of my expectations. I absolutely loved it. This exceptional story is Brynn's point of view and takes place right after Perfekt Order. Perfekt Control . They are my favorite couple don't get me wrong I love Tyr and Mia. Perfekt Control was so emotional from feeling tense to find out what happens next to happy at what happens throughout the book. In this story we got to really know who Brynn is and why she is the way she is. She thoroughly enjoys scientific toys and making them with Henrik and Mia.
Brynn goes on a mission to get Freya back the goddess of love. She was taken and could put the world out of love. That could cause a lot of damage for everyone. In all the realms Brynn and Henrik traveled to whichever ones that could give them answers on where Freya was taken. They never dreamed that the realm that she was taken to is the last one they ever wanted to go to. Along the way they battled giants that breathed fire to dragons. Everything seemed to be out of balance and they aimed to set everything right again once they found Freya and returned her to the good side.
There were so many emotions that went along with this story of Brynn and Henrik. It was an amazing and well written story. An added bonus was Henrik's Hotcakes recipe. Can't wait to try the recipe S.T. Bende. Thank you for another great story and can't wait to read more.
