Great book
This book keep you in your toes. I love it!
WOW!
As a straight person I was so mesmerized by the same-sex love stories, it kept me hooked until the end! Great writing, as always by Melissa Foster.
Great storyline but way too wordy
It was a beautiful and touching storyline. But most of the book felt like someone’s personal journal with pages and pages filled with same thoughts repeated over and over again. That happens, I’ve journaled myself and reading back it’s same stuff rewritten. But that’s now how a novel is supposed to read.
I’d have preferred a cleaner edited version of the same story. May be it’s my attention span, but hey you’re writing to current generation whose attention span is much less than it used to be.
But in my defense I have enjoyed the pages and pages of pride of prejudice and other period romances without skimming over stuff.
A good read overall, but I had to skip over many of the diatribes.
