Disconcerted when I read so many negative reviews...
Appears fairly reliable until you enter Southampton Waters n notice that the missing cruise liners are an issue. Just use it for occasional interest since can't be seen as a serious app - YET... Hence I won't upgrade till the dependability improves... Good start though!!
Useless now
Had the paid for app several years ago, but now not able to access it because it’s no longer compatible with the iPhone X and it’s current operating system - and it’s reverted to the lite version which is quite frankly hopeless... you can’t search, there are huge ads, some of which you can’t close so you have to shut the app and reopen. The new paid version looks the same as the previous paid version- but I’m not prepared to fork out again for something I already paid for and now can’t use. Like others have said, what’s to stop them doing it again... not good enough.
Best avoided - awful full page ads
How disappointing is this 4.5 rated app? 1 Star is probably too high a rating. Okay, it's in a truly off-putting place but 1 ad banner at the top of the screen is almost acceptable, it is a free ap. Then after you click on a couple of the tiny ship icons, bang, a full page pop-up obtrusive ad appears. You close it off, select another 2 boat icons and wham, another obtrusive, full page ad. You close it off, and repeat. Then you remember you can uninstall this money grabbing junk from your device. That's the best user experience moment this app has to offer.
