I love reading a book that makes you feel like you're part of it. US should be read as part of a series, IMO, because there are things that just make more sense when you do (plus who wants to miss out on an awesome series!?) So definitely read at least Secrets and Corrupted first!
Nikoli. He's that tough alpha that you just want to hold to your breast and tell him he's a good man because of his past and then have amazing alpha sex with because he's that hot.
Sabrina. I just want to love her up. She's so amazingly strong, a full on independent woman but at the same time you just want to take care of her because she's so motherly she makes more time for Nikoli than for herself.
I fell in love with both of these characters, and when tragedy struck I was in agony for them. This book is a bit on the darker side (to me that's expected because of the Mafiya genre) but it's such an amazing story and makes you just FEEL. I didn't want to put it down.
