Monkey Business!

To be totally honest, the title of this book almost scared me off. I didn't know if the monkeys were some weird kink or if the book was going to be silly. I'm SO glad that I gave it a chance! You should too!
Viola is a housekeeper (more like personal attendant) for James, a kind man that took her in when he found her in a tough situation. Hank is a hunky handyman that shows up to remodel James' house a day early. When he starts demolishing a wall, Viola is startled and spills coffee on herself. When she confronts Hank, chaos ensues!
I absolutely loved the characters in this book! Viola and Hank had the sassy banter and chemistry that I look for in a romance! I loved the slow build up of heat between them as they got to know each other, and the feelings that developed as they opened up and shared their own histories. James and Maxie were also fabulous as the interfering brothers that were trying to get their siblings together. It would have been easy for them to turn into stereotypical gay characters, but I felt like the author really developed them into something more. My only complaint was that occasionally the POV would switch from one character to another in the middle of a chapter. I would sometimes need to re-read a paragraph to figure out that we had switched into a different character's head.
This book had so many parts where I laughed out loud, and even parts where I shed a few tears. I highly recommend it!!!

Put this book down!!!! I instantly fell in love with all the characters in the book! I absolutely loved the strength Viola showed after all she had been through, seeing her & Hank the Hunk fall in love made for such a sweet story! And the monkeys! I can't say enough about their role in the story!!!
