Irritating more often than not these days
3 days ago
Having read the recent reviews I have been a long time listener and I am glad other listeners are speaking up about the show. Its annoying at best with Hollys voice and Jess mentioning her need to rent and struggle to balance work/ lifestyle as a mum and Mia, probably the most relatable and her morning makeup routine , which seems to be a little Trinny at London. Diversity definitely is needed, some of the stand in presenters break up the day to day self congratulatory pat on the back agreement between the Trio And the Ghan travel around Australia, Jess and Holly. Are you and your families paying full costs ? Cheers

Jessie and Holly - so disappointing
2 Apr
ETA 3 April 2025 So Coco (Mia’s daughter) had a gap year then was announced as an intern (first time I’ve heard an intern announced…curious) just weeks ago at the end of one ep and is now a “junior content producer”. Just like her brother Luca, Coco attended one of the wealthiest schools in Sydney, doesn’t go to uni and suddenly gets a job at Mummy and Daddy’s company that she is completely unqualified for. And, like Luca, I expect Coco at age 25/26 will buy a house which costs $2.9M (more by the time Coco is that age) thanks to an inflated hand out for ‘working’. Srsly Coco, Luca, Mia and Jason…have some decency and for Coco and Luca, some self respect. Try getting a job without relying on your parents. Though Mia got her job thanks to her rich daddy…not surprising really that Luca and Coco follow the same entitled and disgustingly privileged path. They are succession but even more puerile. **** Note to Jessie - Still waiting for news on Chilli… where is she? ***** So now Jessie loves Chilli her rescue dog less. And mentions Chillis behaviour because she was a rescue. Wasn’t Chilli a puppy when adopted by Luca for Jessie? Don’t stigmatise rescues. And Holly asks if Chilli is an outside dog now. Jessie is dropping hints that she’s going to be one of those people that has a child and abandons their dog. Holly failed her own first rescue dog (RIP Elvi) and should know better than to ask about Chilli sleeping outside. Rescue groups do not adopt to humans who will only have their dogs outside. When I think I can’t be any more disappointed in this podcast and these 3 individuals, they strike again. Finally Jessie, how about you get Chilli out on some group dog walks run by others so she can feel valued and have her quality of life enhanced since you now only have eyes for Luna. So very disappointed in who you have become.
Too left-leaning, boring and righteous

I do feel for them as - it seems their audience are as insufferably entitled as they are, but what you’re left with is 3 ladies trying to please their base - it’s inauthentic at best.

I decided to subscribe for a year for the first time, to support women’s media as I enjoyed the show. I am disappointed by the number of repetitive ads per episode, despite being a paid subscriber. I am also losing interest in the endless Harry and Meghan, celebrity break-up and increasingly vacuous content, which is NOT what the women in my life are talking about. Won’t renew my subscription sadly, and looking for other podcasts to follow.
Stench
27 Mar
There’s a reason why even long time listeners don’t feel a connection to this podcast. People know when something is not authentic. When you have spent almost two years avoiding the topics that women want to talk about or gaslighting women to believe Mia is a victim because she is a Zionist and supports Israel, all you get is a heap of garbage and soul less content. You can try to mask the stench, but it stinks. Bottom line is that the supreme leader of mamamia, Mia Freedman is a genocide supporter. She shuts down any criticism of Israel on the mamamia outloud Facebook group and removes members who respectfully call them out for the silencing of anti Israel voices. We have watched children BURNT and BOMBED for 15 months and Mia is silencing those who oppose this horror. She has centred her own feelings calling protesters menacing when she knows that people are protesting a literal genocide. You will never be able to erase this from your reputation as hard as you try Mia ‘send them flowers’ Freedman. And we will not let you off the hook. Your media company has been complicit. Shame on you. For anyone still listening to mamamia, you have to ask yourself what your morals are and how can you support an entity that is this outwardly evil?
Too much Meghan

Too many episodes about Meghan and no interest.
Repetitive and boring
27 Mar
Ladies, please take note of what most of the reviewers are saying! I am a longtime listener and subscriber, but am considering whether this is now value for money. The topics have become so repetitive and boring - if I hear about Meghan one more time, my goodness! I know you can’t please everybody, but surely there is more balance to be found in discussing a VARIETY of topics. I’ve accepted that you won’t be addressing what’s happening in the Middle East, but the topics lately feel like you are gaslighting your audience. Surely there is something of more depth you can speak about. I’m such a fan, it’s a shame to see this direction.
It’s giving 70’s white feminism..
24 Mar
This show is representative of the lack of intersectional feminism in Australian media. The irony of 3 homogenous women (white, wealthy, heterosexual, parents etc) discussing DEI - did they think it might be valuable actually ask a person of colour of their experience?
More diversity
23 Mar
I think it’s time to break up the trio and add in some much needed diversity. Three white, left-leaning mothers sitting around talking about their children is not why your audience starting listening to this podcast. It’s time for Jessie to be replaced. Please bring in someone single and/or childless so that we can go back to having a range of different views. And please stop with all the ads.
