Publisher Description

"Mia and the Bad Boy is what the young adult genre should be made of! A story full of heart and humor with the right mixture of romance throughout. I loved the friendship that blossoms between Mia and Ryder, and seeing it develop into more. I will absolutely be reading more from the Crush line, and more of Lisa Burstein!" -Jessica, Thoughts at One in the Morning

Ryder Brooks is living the dream—he’s famous, loved by millions of girls, and miserable. All he really wants is to write his own music, not Seconds to Juliet’s sugary sweet pop. In order to do that, though, the “bad boy” of the band will have to play by the rules. And that includes behaving with his new—and super cute—über-good-girl tutor.

Mia Reyes is in fangirl heaven. Tutoring her favorite member of her favorite band? It’s a dream come true…until it turns into a complete nightmare. Ryder is nothing like she thought. He’s crude, arrogant, and pretty much a total jerk. And the worst part? She’s roped into pretending to be his girlfriend so that no one finds out he’s being tutored. Fake kisses, plenty of PDA, and even sharing his hotel room…

But sometimes even the baddest of bad boys needs a little redemption.

Ah! Give me a band and a great love story and you have me sold EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Seriously, I love a good YA love story, and this one had all my favorites! The oh so good looking bad boy who doesn’t want any part of love. The good girl who falls head over heals, and BAM, put ’em together, and you get L-O-V-E.

Of course there are issues along the way, and nothing is perfect, they are teenagers, but that is what makes it such a great story.

This one is part of a series, and I am excited to go back and read number one in the series, AND, I already have number three loaded up and ready to roll!

Super cute, super fun Mia and the Bad Boy was a HIT!

Time is not on their side

Ryder and Mia's story is simple. Boy meets girl. Girl hates boy. Then it gets complicated. There is so much more to both of them then meets the eye. When they get to know one another everything changed.

Ryder has a past full of heartache and pain. Now that he is famous he tries to hide all that from his friends and the viewing public. Meeting Mia changes him. He sees more about academics, the world, even girls.

Mia is a good girl who does what she is told. Her parents have her life mapped out. She is following the map to her planned future. Tutoring Ryder will help pay for college and medical school. She can pretend to be his girlfriend to get all that. She just cannot tell her parents.

In the course of tutoring, they see more about one another than just that they are student and teacher. Ryder learns there are things he can teach her in return. Like playing the guitar. There is so much more to learn, and it is just the beginning.

Ryder and Mia are such an amazing couple together. I enjoyed the banter, the learning, the working together to deceive others. They have a secret that bonds them. Will it last if the truth comes out? Does love conquer all? Such a heartwarming story and I loved it!
