    How To Stop Being Overwhelmed

    How To Stop Being Overwhelmed

In today's episode, I've got your back with a super simple five-step process to dial down that overwhelm and kick those overthinking habits to the curb.

With just a few deep breaths can work wonders in calming your mind and body, grabbing a pen and paper, you'll be getting them out of your head and clear the mental clutter.

Then, it's time to prioritize like a boss! Instead of trying to tackle your entire to-do list at once (spoiler alert: it's impossible), focus on the next best action, then you are ready to get that bod moving! Whether it's a quick walk, some jumping jacks, or a dance party in your living room, physical activity can do wonders for shaking off that overwhelm.

Last but not least, commit to taking action. Set a timer for 25 minutes, give it your all on that top-priority task, then reward yourself with a well-deserved break. You've got this!

So, if you're ready to kick overwhelm to the curb and reclaim your peace of mind, hit play. And hey, if you find this episode helpful (which I know you will), don't forget to share the love on Instagram and tag me @robdialjr. Your support means the world!

How To Change Your Self Talk

How To Change Your Self Talk

In this episode of the Mindset Mentor Podcast, we'll be talking about something super important: how to treat ourselves with more kindness and love. I've noticed that so many of you struggle with negative self-talk, and trust me, I've been there too.

So, why is self-love so crucial? Well, it's the key to building confidence and living the life you truly desire. Imagine confidence as a stack of building blocks. Every time you speak kindly to yourself and take positive actions, you're adding another block. But every time you put yourself down, it's like removing one.

The thing is that the way you talk to yourself affects everything – from your actions to how others perceive you. And let's not forget about comparison, especially on social media. It's like a joy thief!

But here's the good news: you have the power to change your self-talk and mindset. It starts with awareness. Grab a pen and paper, jot down those negative thoughts, and then counter them with your achievements and things you love about yourself.

The Mindset Mentor Podcast (2024 review)

I discovered Rob Dial through Hal Elrod's podcast, and I'm so glad that I did.

Both Hal & Rob are experts at cultivating positive mindsets & habits.

What I like about The Mindset Mentor podcast is that it offers perfect, bite-sized pieces of wisdom in every episode.

I started 2024 on the right track (much thanks to Hal Elrod & Jon Acuff) - but when negative thoughts & patterns started to creep back in (sometime in March), I was very grateful to have Rob Dial back in the mix.

His podcast is a great listen.

It's not family-friendly (this is a compliment), and there may be a few too many ads (my only gripe), but the value I receive makes it all worth it.

I'm thankful for Rob's work in The Mindset Mentor. It is definitely worth the listen.

Meditation

I have been a Buddhist practitioner for the better part of five years. The one thing that I found that helps me to meditate if I’m sitting outside enjoying the environment where I’m at, is to listen for sounds I don’t recognize, but then only identify them with the notion that I identify what that is. And do not allow my mind to add additional narrative. And then I listen for something yet, I’m listening to nothing. But yet I’m listening to everything. But paying attention to nothing at the same time. know what I’m saying?

Great, realistic, practical

Love this podcast. Love the length of the episodes too- just enough to get you thinking or moving.
