Matter of Time

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, I loved it! I haven’t read Ms. Lynne’s books before but now I have to read this series. Logan and Lizbeth have been apart for 15 years and Lucas is Logan’s twin and has been a friend to Lizbeth, especially when Logan and Lizbeth were forced apart. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but the attraction and love between Logan and Lizbeth is intense and has not dissipated over the years. Even though Lucas looks exactly like Logan, he has never been more than friend to Lizbeth. As a “side” character, Lucas is a pretty intense one and he helps orchestrate the coming together, after all the years, of his beloved twin and Lizbeth.

Logan has three children and they were absolutely perfect for in story. They acted like kids, and pushed their dad to his limit, and most especially, gave him their perspectives and love.

The re-engagement of Logan’s and Lizbeth’s relationship takes place in Lucas’ Pandora’s Playground kink club. The club plays a big part and I think it is a theme thruout the series. In my opinion, the sexy part of this book is tastefully done. And I loved, loved, loved the relationship of Logan and his children and Lizbeth’s acceptance of them. Great book and I highly recommend.

Received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Just finished reading this story and Loved every moment and word of it. Lizbeth Sanders throws parties for a living but when it comes to enjoying life she hasn't, not for the last fifteen years since she lost him. She has tried to find love again but no one has ever measured up to her long lost love Logan Steele. They meet in college and become friends at first because he was in a relationship with his high school sweetheart back home but, when he came back at the beginning of their Junior year they had broken up and Lizbeth and Logan started seeing each other. Everything was over the moon they even took classes during the summer before their senior year because they couldn't be apart, but Lizbeth is thrown into hell when she returns to school to catch Logan packing up his apartment of all his stuff, and to find out that he was leaving her to marry his high school sweetheart who has had his child without his knowledge. Logan had to do the right thing he was that kind of person raised to accept his responsibilities. Lizbeth was devastated, but with the help of Logan's twin brother Lucas she did manage to make it through her final year of college and then moved away to start her career. Although Lizbeth lives in a small community she has been able to keep her business successful and it is at one of her parties where she is totally taken back by running into Lucas Steele, Logan's twin, looking into those vivid green eyes makes her feel so alone once again reminding her of what she had and lost. But a few months later at another party she again runs into Lucas and at his invitation to return with him to his new bar/club she throws caution to the wind and follows him. But his bar is really a kink club and although she has never been to one before, she is curious and at Lucas's urging she starts to wander around. In college Logan had been kind of in to being a dominant although there was no name for it at the time and she wondered if maybe that was why she had never found another relationship that worked. Meanwhile Logan is upstairs totally freaking out because he can't wait to reconnect with Lizbeth. Logan left his wife thirteen months ago and is waiting to sign divorce papers any day now. After finding out through Lucas that Lizbeth is still single he has been thinking of the possibilities and hopes that Lizbeth will let him have a chance to make it up to her. Well let's just say that this is everything that Lizbeth could hope for but never thought she would have again. Logan and Lizbeth's reunion and chemistry is Sizzling Hot the pages are a blur because I was so engrossed with their renewed affection and continued feelings that they have had for one another through all this time. The passion between them flares hot and bright, but there is still a lot to work out between them. But how will everything turn out when Logan's soon to be ex-wife finds out. What will Logans' children think of their father having a girlfriend? Will Lizbeth and Logan get their happily ever after? You have got to read this Smoking, Sizzling, Hot story. I couldn't put this down such a great story of second chances.

A second chance at love. Lizbeth and Logan were college sweethearts, fast forward fifteen years for a reconnection. Both with failed relationships, in fact Lizbeth never married. The sex took up right where they left it, only much more exciting than before. Can I say hot. I really enjoyed the characters in this book, both very likeable. Now the exwife, Bobbi Jo, she is just pure evil.

This book is part of a series, can be read as a stand alone. Love the writing of Alannah Lynne, you will not be able to stop turning the pages. Contemporary romance at it's best. I received this book from the author for an honest review.
