About Chris Chickering

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing The Rolling Stones' Hot Rocks, The Beatles 62-66, and Cat Stevens' Greatest Hits all blew me away. I was especially grabbed by "Hard Day's Night," "Ticket To Ride, "Moonshadow," "Peace Train," "Play With Fire" and "As Tears Go By." What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cat Stevens, The Very Best of Cat Stevens James Taylor, Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 (Remastered) The Rolling Stones, Hot Rocks 1964-1971 Each of these albums were tour de force and completely blew me away. I've listened to each of these albums at least 1000 times. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Reinvent Yourself” This song was the story of my life for a long, long time. It's a song of hope that carries the message: you can't always control what happens to you in this crazy-world, but you can always choose what to do with it on the inside. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For a long time, I held myself back because I'd been holding onto a false belief that songwriting, let alone completing an entire album, was impossible. Thus, finishing my first album, "Shine, was especially memorable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To continue playing at events and venues that welcome musicians with an uplifting, empowering intent.
