Publisher Description
I have been staring at her for three months. Watching her. Memorizing her.
For ninety-two days, I’ve looked into those lifeless green eyes.
And for ninety-two days she has inspired me in ways I never knew possible. A muse, unbeknownst to her. Motivating me. Encouraging my darkest desires.
I’m a man who knows what he wants. And what I want is the beautiful and broken Holland Howard.
My name is Jensen Payne—photographer, autocrat, lecher, Scopophiliac. I am who I am and I will not—cannot—change.
*This is a stand-alone, erotic romance. Due to strong sexual situations and harsh language, it is recommended for readers 18+ only.
WARNING: This book contains possible emotional triggers.
Customer Reviews
3 hard stars for Cheryl's first attempt at an erotic story.
Unfortunately, the beginning brings back reminders from another story I read about a photographer obsessed with taking pictures of naked women during climax. I do not have an in depth connection with the characters yet. The layers of the grief have been outlined, but the way Holland just up and left, left me feeling confused. I needed closure. I needed her to react with words and not actions. While I love stories about sex and men who are capable of awakening something deep inside of us that was lost-feeling. I still feel unattached to the story. I feel like I'm going through the motions.
The story needs to move into another direction. I wish the story would progress away from the sex. Some sex is good but when seventy-five percent of the story is based on it, it becomes mundane.
Cheryl has made her point that Holland is using sex to escape dealing with her feelings.
I feel like the story finally began when Holland saw Jensen's father at the DMV. I became enthralled in the story from this point on. The story took too long to make its point but once it did I was hooked.
